Coca-Cola to Invest $168M to Double Fort Worth Plant Capacity

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB) is responding to the rapid population growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area, which is adding over 400 people daily, according to census data.

Expansion Plans

To meet the increasing demand, CCSWB is investing $168 million to enhance production and double warehouse capacity in Fort Worth. Similar investments have been made in Houston, where the company recently opened a plant after investing over $250 million.

Employment Impact

The Fort Worth plant currently employs nearly 900 individuals, contributing to a total of 1,800 employees across North Texas in various roles such as sales and distribution.
