The construction of a five-story building at 89 Throop Avenue in South Williamsburg's Broadway Triangle is almost finished. Designed by S. Wieder Architect and developed by Chaim Deutsch, the building will serve both residential and religious purposes. Standing at 55 feet tall, it spans 30,344 square feet and will offer 24 rental units, each averaging around 870 square feet. Additionally, there will be 9,444 square feet of community space, a cellar level, and a mix of 12 open and 12 enclosed parking spaces. The site, located at the corner of Bartlett Street and Throop Avenue, previously housed two low-rise commercial structures.

Architectural Features and Exterior Details

Recent images showcase the building's beige stone façade, featuring a series of arched windows accented by black mullions. The structure also includes ornamental metal railings on its cornices and balconies, adding decorative charm. The entrance, located at the building’s western corner, is framed by two large arched cutouts and is still undergoing final touches, with plywood boards and plastic barriers in place. Additional arched windows are adorned with stone blocks and keystones, adding to the building’s distinctive design.

Transportation and Accessibility

The building is conveniently located near public transportation, with the J, M, and Z subway lines accessible at the Flushing Avenue station, just southeast along Broadway. This provides easy access for residents and visitors to other parts of Brooklyn and New York City.
