Major Food Group knows how to give the people what they want. While Carbone's South Beach location is the glitzy sister who is on Real Housewives of Miami and loves clubbing, Carbone Vino is the more chill sibling who frequents antique book stores and wine bars.
Opening on December 7 in the heart of Coconut Grove - Miami's wealthy boehemian enclave, this new location will offer Carbone classics, as well as dishes from the brand's members-only Carbone Privato menu.
A Unique Identity with Familiar Flavors
Carbone Vino is the first standalone of its kind (Carbone Dallas has a Vino extension), with a heavy focus on wine. Patrons can expect a global 600-bottle wine menu to pair with seasonal specialties like pumpkin agnolotti, red-wined-braised veal osso bucco, along with the signature spicy rigatoni and (hopefully tableside) "Caesar alla ZZ."
Desserts will include a decadent "Cannoli Sundae," which is prepared just as it sounds - ice cream topped with chocolate chips, pistachios, candied fruit and crushed cannoli shells.
Expanding the Carbone Legacy
Carbone Carbon Vino is primed to be another smash hit by Major Food Group, helmed by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick. While prices will remain the same as the original Carbone, the concept's accessibility and location will market the menu to a broader audience, focused on young couples and families.
