Cannabis Facility Construction (CFC), a prominent design-build firm specializing in cannabis facilities, has recently completed two new dispensaries in the Chicago area. These dispensaries, operating under the Bud & Rita brand, are located in Niles and Avondale.
Collaborative Approach with Local Farms
Nature’s Grace and Wellness, an Illinois-based, family-operated cannabis farm, adopted an operational partnership model for these new locations. This collaboration aims to enhance the retail experience by fostering strong relationships with local cannabis producers.
Specific Locations and Unique Features
The Niles dispensary, located at 5960 West Touhy, spans 7,600 square feet and is situated next to the Village Crossing Shopping Center. In Avondale, the dispensary at 3425 West Belmont dedicates half of its 6,000-square-foot space to community events, highlighting its commitment to local engagement.
Enhancing the Retail Experience
Andy Poticha, Founder & CEO of CFC, emphasized the importance of the retail experience for today’s cannabis consumers, noting their preference for dispensaries that collaborate with local farms and businesses. He expressed pride in CFC's role in creating uniquely designed and enjoyable spaces that contribute positively to their neighborhoods.
Design Collaboration with Eastlake Architects
Both dispensaries were designed in collaboration with Eastlake Architects, who provided the architectural plans. This partnership ensured that the facilities not only meet the needs of the business but also add aesthetic and functional value to the communities they serve.
