The brainchild of Canfield Development, this venture is backed by Brasa Capital Management, with HBA Architects at the helm of architectural designs.
What to expect from this new project: The ambitious project envisions a five-story podium-type building that seamlessly integrates both residential and retail spaces. Upon completion, the building will house a total of 56 residential units, all of which will be studio floor plans. In addition to the residential units, the ground floor of the building will boast 3,000 square feet of retail space, aimed at enhancing the community experience.
What makes this development unique: A noteworthy aspect of this project lies in its adherence to Transit Oriented Communities incentives, permitting a taller building design with reduced open space, deviating from standard zoning regulations. An interesting facet is the absence of on-site residential parking, a decision made to prioritize other essential aspects of the project.
However, to support the proposed retail establishments, five parking stalls will be provided at the rear of the property on the ground level. In a bid to make a positive impact, seven of the new apartments will be reserved as deed-restricted affordable housing, catering to the extremely low-income demographic.
