Buffalo Wild Wings Sets Opening Date for 250-Seat Hazlet Restaurant

Buffalo Wild Wings is preparing to open its newest Monmouth County location at 3054 Route 35 in Hazlet. The restaurant will officially welcome guests on Aug. 3, beginning with a 9 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony and cake celebration alongside township officials. The new sports bar occupies the former TGI Fridays building at Hazlet Town Center, just off Route 35 and next to Wawa. Regular business hours will be 10:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

What the Restaurant Will Offer

The new Buffalo Wild Wings has seating for approximately 250 guests and is equipped with 70 flat-screen televisions, creating a sports-focused dining experience. Guests will also find 30 beers on tap, including local selections. The menu features the brand's signature bone-in and boneless wings with a variety of sauces and dry rubs, along with burgers, chicken sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, salads, and other family-friendly options.

What Company Leaders Are Saying

Munson Restaurant Group, which owns and operates several Buffalo Wild Wings locations across New Jersey, said Hazlet was a natural fit for its continued expansion.

"We wanted to provide another option for the community," said Jack Litman, President of Munson Restaurant Group.

Litman also described Hazlet as an "amazing town" for the company's newest restaurant.

Marketing Manager Joe Tripodi highlighted the atmosphere the team hopes to create.

"There's nothing quite like watching your team pull off a win surrounded by people who care just as much as you do, and that's the energy we're building in Hazlet."

The restaurant also brings new life to a building left vacant after TGI Fridays closed the location in 2024 as part of the chain's restructuring following its bankruptcy filing. With the addition of Buffalo Wild Wings, the shopping center continues to strengthen its mix of dining and retail options while serving residents throughout Monmouth County.
