Manhattan Mini Storage, a longstanding icon in New York City, is making waves with its strategic expansion into Brooklyn and Queens, extending its reach far beyond the bounds of Manhattan. This move, slated for completion in early January, signifies a pivotal moment in the company's rich history.

A Legacy Unfolding in New Territories

Established in 1978 as a family-owned venture, Manhattan Mini Storage has evolved into the city's largest self-storage provider. Under the guidance of StorageMart, the world's largest privately-owned self-storage company, the company entered a new era in December 2021. Adam Steckler, Chief Operating Officer, expressed excitement about the expansion, emphasizing their commitment to bringing the quintessential Manhattan Mini Storage experience to a vibrant new community.

Redefined Customer Experience Beyond Manhattan

The decision to extend this iconic New York brand to the boroughs underscores the company's dedication to urban living and enhancing customer convenience and affordability. In the past ten months, Manhattan Mini Storage has introduced innovative features such as a 24/7 customer service center and a Fast Pass rental experience, streamlining the storage rental process for tenants. The Brooklyn locations now offer package acceptance, catering to small business owners using storage for inventory and supplies.

Empowering Tenants with Technological Upgrades

Not stopping there, the company plans to upgrade its gated access entry system, putting more control in the hands of each tenant. Weyen Burnam, Chief Development Officer, shared the company's goals of implementing new gated access technology, including an app experience. This app will provide customers with greater control over their accounts, allowing them to assign temporary user codes, view their unit access history, and more.

Service Excellence and Community Commitment

Manhattan Mini Storage remains steadfast in providing exceptional service and understanding the unique needs of urban customers. Their commitment extends beyond service to active participation in the communities they serve. This commitment is exemplified through job opportunities, local charity support, and eco-friendly practices aligned with community values, promoting sustainability. The company's foray into Brooklyn and Queens is not just an expansion; it's a testament to their dedication to both service and community.
