What Is Planned for This Hell's Kitchen Site
A new boutique condominium development is moving forward in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood following the completion of demolition work at the project site. Located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues within the Special Clinton District, the development will replace a former church property with a seven-story mixed-use building. The site sits within walking distance of the 50th Street subway station, providing residents with direct access to the C and E trains. Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects for developer Shirley Wang, the building will rise approximately 66 feet and encompass 16,257 square feet.
What the New Building Includes
Plans call for 10 condominium residences with an average size of approximately 1,348 square feet. The project will also include 2,773 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a 38-foot rear yard. Renderings show a contemporary design featuring white and black metal paneling paired with floor-to-ceiling windows arranged across the façade. A communal rooftop terrace is also planned for residents.
What Amenities Residents Will Have Access To
Future residents will have access to a fitness center, resident lounge, bike parking, and rooftop gathering space. Floor plans also show private balconies overlooking the rear yard, providing additional outdoor space for homeowners. The development's limited unit count and larger floor plans position it as a boutique residential offering within one of Manhattan's most established neighborhoods.

The project adds new for-sale housing inventory to a neighborhood that continues to attract buyers seeking proximity to Midtown, public transit, and a vibrant dining and entertainment scene. With demolition complete and the site cleared, the project is positioned to move into the next phase of development. A formal construction timeline has not yet been announced.
