Boca Raton's Multimillion-Dollar Campus for the Center of Arts & Innovation to be Designed by Famous Architect

The Center for Arts and Innovation (The Center) in Boca Raton, Florida has selected renowned architect Renzo Piano to design its new campus. The Center is a $1.3 billion project that will create a global hub for creative excellence.

The architect: Piano is a Pritzker Prize-winning architect who has designed some of the world's most iconic buildings, including the Shard in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

The project: The Center's campus will be located in downtown Boca Raton and will include versatile performance spaces, an innovation incubator lab, and educational spaces for STEAM programming. The campus is expected to attract new visitors to the city and create jobs.

The Center's campus is expected to break ground in 2025 and be completed in 2029.

• The campus will be located on a 1.8-acre site at the north end of Mizner Park, next to the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

• The campus will include 600,000 square feet of space, including:

  • A 2,000-seat performing arts center

  • An innovation incubator lab

  • Educational spaces for STEAM programming

  • A rooftop garden

• The campus is expected to create 1,000 jobs during construction and 500 permanent jobs once it is completed.

• The project is expected to generate $1.3 billion in economic impact for the region.
