A long-abandoned building in Fort Worth has been given new life as a high-end hotel. Originally built in 1928 as the Biltmore Tire Co., the structure has undergone multiple transformations over the decades, including stints as Hotel Texas, the Sheraton Fort Worth, and the Hyatt Regency. The property was purchased in 2018 by Blueprint Hospitality, which partnered with Ashford Hospitality to redevelop the site. After a few years of planning, the building has now been converted into the 188-room Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown.

Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown offers a variety of dining experiences. Guests can enjoy all-day dining at the Bouvier Brasserie, while the rooftop lounge, Annex, provides cocktails, light bites, and stunning downtown views, complemented by weekly live music. The hotel’s first-floor hub will host evening programs, including La Vie: Rose & Petit Plates, which features a selection of cocktails and shareable dishes.
The hotel is well-equipped for meetings and events, with 5,000 square feet of space that includes a ballroom and breakout rooms. As part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown aims to cater to both leisure and business travelers with its blend of historic charm and modern amenities.
