Construction progress on The Brook, a 51-story residential skyscraper located at 589 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn, has reached the halfway mark. The building, designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by Witkoff Group and Apollo Global Management, stands at 575 feet tall and spans over 557,973 square feet. The structure will offer 591 rental units, with 30% allocated for affordable housing. Additionally, it includes 68,693 square feet of retail space, cellar level, and two floors dedicated to recreational and sports amenities. Interior design is handled by Bonetti Kozerski, while Suffolk Construction serves as the general contractor.

Vertical Construction Progress

Since the last update in December, vertical construction has advanced rapidly. The reinforced concrete superstructure now dominates the skyline, with the tower already substantially built. Façade installation has commenced on the lower stories above the podium. With the current pace, construction is expected to top out by summer. The building's location benefits from proximity to several subway stations, including DeKalb Avenue and Nevins Street, although access to the former is temporarily closed due to construction.

Completion Timeline

The completion of The Brook is scheduled for September 2025, according to on-site information.
