After being on and off the market for a couple of years, the extravagant Hidden Hills, California residence owned by Brooklyn Nets point guard Ben Simmons is set to be auctioned.

The interior boasts vertical strips of multihued reclaimed wood, gray brick, and glass panels, lending a masculine ambiance. Inside, a vaulted wooden ceiling with exposed steel beams soars 40 feet above black marble floors in the great room. Notable features include a 6,000-pound floating brass-and-marble fireplace, a hidden chef’s kitchen, and a poolside cabana with a fireplace. A bonsai tree and Zen garden add unique touches.
Amenities and Features
The residence offers plush amenities such as a 65-foot swimming pool, a movie theater, and a well-equipped home gym, typical of a professional athlete’s luxury bachelor pad.
Auction Details
Bidding for the property will commence on April 18 via the Concierge Auctions website, with starting offers estimated between $7 million and $12 million. The highest bidder on April 30 will acquire the home, previously listed for $17.5 million.
History and Collaborators
Ben Simmons, who acquired the property for $17.5 million in June 2021, is its first owner. The property was listed for $23 million a year later, after Simmons was traded to the Nets. The auction listing is a collaboration between Concierge Auctions and The Beverly Hills Estates team.
Expressing regret over underutilization due to his East Coast commitments, Simmons stated, “It’s time to move on,” signaling his decision to part with the property.
