Beacon Capital Partners has proposed the construction of a second lab building on Harbor Street in Boston’s Seaport District. The planned property, spanning 321,000 square feet over 10 stories, is reported by the Boston Business Journal as part of the Raymond L.
Integration with Flynn Marine Park
The new building, dubbed 4 Harbor St., would complement an adjacent lab building nearing completion in Flynn Marine Park. Although tenants for the proposed building have not been disclosed, Beacon Capital envisions it as an integral component of the South Boston Innovation Campus.
Evolution from Millennium Partners' Vision
Originally conceptualized as part of a larger life sciences campus by Millennium Partners, the plans for the South Boston Innovation Campus underwent scaling back, paving the way for the current development phase led by Beacon Capital.
