Miami-Dade County planners have recently unveiled updated plans for Calle 8, an exciting mixed-use development proposal that promises to transform the landscape at 190 Southwest 8th Street in Brickell. Spearheaded by the innovative minds at BMA Architects and developed by Millennium Developments of Brickell LLC, an affiliate of G&G Business Developments, this project signifies a remarkable departure from its original concept. Spanning across a sprawling 0.92 acres of land along Southwest 2nd Avenue, between Southwest 8th and 9th Streets, this dynamic urban hub aims to redefine the very essence of city living.

A Striking Landmark in Brickell's Skyline

The redesigned plans for Calle 8 reveal a breathtaking architectural marvel that will transform Miami's bustling Brickell neighborhood. Rising 856 feet above ground and 870 feet above sea level, the 65-story tower boasts a distinctive triangular form that sets it apart from the surrounding rectangular structures. This sleek and aerodynamic design maximizes views and natural light for its 458 residential units, which includes 225 studios. In addition to the residential component, Calle 8 offers two enticing options for its commercial space: a flexible multi-level Concert Hall or a multi-story retail complex suitable for a department store.
