Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages has completed a major expansion at 1 Coca-Cola Place, near the Frost Bank Center, adding manufacturing and warehouse capacity to its San Antonio operation. The project was announced as a $42 million investment and includes a warehouse expansion, new parking and a new canning line. Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records separately list a 140,000-square-foot warehouse expansion with a two-story dock office and a $15 million construction cost.

The expanded operation gives Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages more room to manufacture and stage products locally as beverage demand grows across Central Texas. The company said the larger warehouse can hold approximately 20% more product, providing additional inventory capacity during seasonal demand spikes. The new production line also allows more beverages to be manufactured at the San Antonio facility.

Susanne Brady-Lusk, president of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, said, “It is the right time to invest in this expansion project as our business continues to grow year after year.”

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages has operated in San Antonio for nearly 60 years, making the facility a long-standing industrial and employment presence on the city's East Side. The bottler manufactures, markets and distributes Coca-Cola products throughout Texas and portions of Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. Its network includes seven production plants and 37 sales and distribution facilities, serving more than 31 million consumers.
