Alta Development Plans 310-unit Luxury Condo Near Dadeland Mall

Alta Development, under the leadership of Henry Pino, has announced plans for a new residential complex named SoMi Walk. The proposed development is set to be a 15-story building featuring 310 condominium units.

The units within SoMi Walk will range from 490 to 800 square feet, with prices starting at $500,000 and going up to $860,000. These units are designed to cater to a variety of potential buyers looking for modern urban living spaces.

Amenities and Design

Designed by the Miami-based Architecture Form Group, SoMi Walk will offer a range of communal amenities. These include indoor pickleball courts, a pet spa, a pool, a fitness center, and a business center, providing residents with a comprehensive lifestyle experience. Douglas Elliman will manage the sales for the community.

Site Details and Approval Status

Currently, the proposed site for SoMi Walk houses the Rodeway South Inn Miami and a 3,200-square-foot retail building. This site, measuring just over 44,000 square feet, is under contract for $23 million. Although city officials have yet to approve the project, Alta Development aims to commence construction in eight to ten months, with plans to demolish the existing Rodeway South Inn Miami to clear the site for the new build.
