What the Willow House Development Includes
Construction is wrapping up on Willow House, a new eight-story mixed-use development located at 1404 Willow Avenue at the corner of Willow Avenue and 14th Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. Developed by Advance Realty Investors and designed by MVMK Architects, the project will deliver 52 residential units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. The building also includes approximately 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space that has already secured leases with Starbucks and CorePower Yoga. Willow House is one of the latest additions to Hoboken's growing North End neighborhood, where several redevelopment projects are reshaping the area.
What Residents Can Expect
The apartments will feature oversized windows, oak-effect flooring, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit washers and vented dryers. Select residences will also include private balconies or terraces. The building's design incorporates a red brick exterior with contrasting white panel accents and large retail storefront windows at street level. A distinctive beveled corner at the intersection of Willow Avenue and 14th Street includes floor-to-ceiling glass and private outdoor spaces.
What Amenities Are Planned
Residents will have access to a range of lifestyle-focused amenities, including a fitness center, coworking lounge, media room, and lobby gathering spaces. Outdoor amenities include a landscaped rooftop deck with views of the Manhattan skyline and a second-floor terrace featuring seating areas, fire pits, and grilling stations. Additional conveniences include virtual doorman service, a package room, bicycle storage, and preferred access to parking at the nearby Harlow garage.
What the Project Means for Hoboken's North End
Willow House is part of Advance Realty Investors' broader vision for the North End, an area undergoing significant transformation. The larger redevelopment initiative is expected to bring approximately 1,500 new residential units along with retail, dining, and public open space. The property's location also provides convenient access to regional transportation. Residents will be within walking distance of the Hoboken 14th Street Ferry Terminal, offering direct connections to Midtown Manhattan and Lower Manhattan.
