Construction has reached its peak on Halo 1, the shortest tower in a three-tower skyscraper complex situated at 289-301 Washington Street in Newark, New Jersey. The development, designed by INOA Architecture and spearheaded by Acier Holdings, will boast three towers ranging from 42 to 53 stories, making it the tallest structure in Newark upon completion.

The towers, standing between 454 and 573 feet tall, will offer a total of 1,075 apartments featuring studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts. Additionally, the project will incorporate a variety of amenities and a spacious parking garage with a capacity for 343 vehicles. Positioned on Washington Street between Branford Place and William Street, the development is situated on the southwestern periphery of downtown Newark.

Construction Details

A recent photograph illustrates the reinforced concrete skeleton of Halo 1, with significant progress evident in the installation of the glass curtain wall on the lower levels. The completion of structural work is marked by the presence of an American flag atop the building's bulkhead. Renderings depict Halo 1 adjacent to the subsequent phases of the project, characterized by sleek glass facades and distinctive angular cutouts.

Amenities at the development will include a pool, coworking spaces, and a fitness center. Its convenient location offers easy access to various public transportation options, with multiple bus lines and Newark Penn Station within close proximity.
