About

Ramsey Daya joined Newmark Capital in 2017 as a Vice Chairman and heads the Debt and Structured Finance team in Northern California and Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Newmark Capital, Ramsey had co-founded Regency Capital Partners in 2006, which he helped grow into the leading independent mortgage brokerage firm in Northern California. The firm specialized in complex structured debt and equity for all product types with a primary focus in Northern California. Prior to merging with Newmark Capital, the firm was averaging over $800 million of debt placement per year. Prior to founding Regency, Ramsey was a vice president at Cohen Financial, a nationally recognized mortgage banking firm, and before that he worked in finance at Applied Materials. He began his professional career at Silicon Valley Bank.
