Matthew Whiteside’s career at Marcus & Millichap started in Chicago in 1999 and transitioned to his home state of Wisconsin as the Milwaukee Office’s first Multi-Family Specialist in 2001. Since, Matthew has closed in excess of $825 million of Investment Sales primarily Multi-Family properties throughout Wisconsin, nearly 14,000 units during his career. His expertise reaches all aspects of multi-family investments including market rate, student housing, affordable housing including LIHTC, Rural Development, and Section 8 properties. Matthew has been a leader in the office since starting in Milwaukee, bringing a high level of client service and dedication to the marketplace. His leadership has involved a standard of excellence others have emulated, teaching new people in the business, and demonstrating that client service is rewarded by repeat business and customer loyalty, earning ten National Achievement Awards over his career.
