As a Managing Director at Faris Lee Investments, Matt Brooks is a founding member of Faris Lee Investments’ Mid-Market Team along with Joe Chichester. The Mid-Market Team specializes in retail advisory to private clients, family offices, developers, and private equity firms on disposition marketing, retail/mixed-use development, and sales negotiations. Matt is focused on unanchored multi-tenant retail centers and single tenant assets across the country. He has transacted and underwritten nearly $700M in retail properties across the retail spectrum, representing both Sellers and Buyers. He has served in a variety roles at Faris Lee Investments including managing the Trading Desk. The Trading Desk handles all 1031 Exchange requirements directly with investors and with the brokerage community; cross-sells both on-market and privately marketed opportunities; as well as buyer sourcing and deal matching.
