I love commercial real estate, but also enjoy being an entrepreneur. While I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of working through deals, the unique joy of creating a company like PacSun that grew from one to 1200 stores is the thrill of a lifetime. I did it again with an innovative golf business called “The Greens”, and now find myself with another winner – Hulah, a video mobile dating app. I took a break from college to serve my country in the US Army during the early 70’s. Upon finishing graduate school with my MBA, I was hired as a consultant/CPA for Arthur Andersen. Subsequently, I worked as a Controller for Bekins and a CFO for a large Kenworth Truck Dealership, until I discovered my real passion for commercial real estate. Currently I serve as a Senior Vice President with Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), and have been with them for over 30 years. My focus is NNN and multi-tenant retail centers, and have done over $1.5 Billion in transaction sales. M&M has over 80 offices throughout North America.
