Current Responsibilities
Barnett Wu is a Senior Vice President with the investment banking team of JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group in its New York office. As a member of the dedicated financing team, his primary responsibilities include raising debt and equity for hotel owners and developers, as well as providing advisory services. In his day-to-day contributions to the team, Barnett is focused on lender outreach, deal execution, debt underwriting, market research and sourcing new financing opportunities.
Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Barnett worked on the Acquisitions & Development team at Thayer Lodging Group, a hotel real estate private equity firm based in Annapolis, MD. At Thayer, Barnett underwrote full-service and luxury investment opportunities in top 20 lodging markets in North America, conducted in-depth market research and prepared investment committee materials. Prior to Thayer Lodging Group, Barnett was a Financial Analyst at Inland American Lodging Group (currently Xenia Hotels & Resorts).
