Alban Barrus is a twenty year real estate veteran, where he co-leads the company’s Triangle-based Capital Markets practice, specializing in the disposition of office, flex, life science and industrial properties. Prior to his role at Cushman & Wakefield, Alban spent ten years with Highwoods Properties (NYSE: HIW) as Director of Leasing, where his responsibilities included overseeing the leasing of a 2.1 million square foot office portfolio, site selection and acquisition, office redevelopment, and ground-up new developments. Alban started his real estate career in 2004 with Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), as a Senior Leasing Representative.
