Sound Point’s primary investment objectives across our products are (i) to preserve capital in all market conditions and (ii) to generate attractive rates of return with low volatility. Sound Point was founded by Stephen Ketchum and principals of Stone Point Capital (www.stonepoint.com), with minority investments from the Dyal Capital division of Blue Owl Capital Inc. and Assured Guaranty Ltd. Stephen Ketchum has over 32 years of credit structuring, advisory and investment management experience and a successful track record of building and managing teams. Sound Point’s senior portfolio management team has an average of 25 years’ experience in the credit markets. Sound Point manages money on behalf of institutions, pensions, foundations, insurance companies, wealth management firms, family offices and high net worth individuals. In total, as of September 30, 2023, Sound Point managed $45+ billion in assets. Sound Point is a signatory of the UN-supported Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI).
