Welcome Wilson Jr. is the President and CEO of Welcome Group and a joint venture partner in KDW, a design/build construction affiliate. In addition to his roles at Welcome Group and KDW, Mr. Wilson is actively involved in community redevelopment and educational initiatives, serving on various boards including Alamo Trust, Remember the Alamo Foundation, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Texas Higher Education Foundation, the Greater Houston Partnership, Texas Business Hall of Fame, Trellis Foundation and Southwest Redevelopment Authority. Mr. Wilson previously served on the University of Houston System Board of Regents and the Houston Food Bank. Recognized for his leadership, Mr. Wilson was named one of the “Most Admired CEOs” by the Houston Business Journal in 2018.
