Mark Walsh is a partner and co-founder of Silverpeak. He is responsible for the platform’s strategic initiatives and origination activities. Before founding Silverpeak, Mark Walsh headed Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group and served as Global Co-Head of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity. During his 20 years at Lehman Brothers, the firm became a leading debt and equity investment platform both domestically and globally. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mark Walsh was a lawyer where he represented financial institutions in all aspects of commercial mortgage loan origination, workouts and secondary market transactions. He’s also a Founding Member of the Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Mark earned his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.
