John Petras is the Managing Principal of RockFarmer Properties. He has been responsible for acquisitions, asset management, strategic planning, and marketing of the firm's multifamily, office, and retail assets. A Queens native, Petras began his career in fashion and merchandising, founding Alexis & Gianni in 1986. He transitioned to real estate in the 2000s, purchasing and operating multiple investment properties before selling his business in 2006 to pursue real estate full-time.
