John Fraser is the Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer of JRE Partners. John oversees all critical aspects of the JRE business and serves as JRE’s Investment Committee chair. John previously founded Junius Real Estate Partners in 2011, a separately branded real estate operating business within J.P. Morgan, establishing its strategy, structure and team. Before launching Junius, John was the co-head of real estate at Investcorp. There he led the firm’s U.S. real estate equity and debt investment activities. Prior to his tenure at Investcorp, John gained experience in direct investment, property redevelopment and asset management via the positions he held at The O’Connor Group, Eastdil Realty and Aston Development Corporation. John earned a B.A. from Middlebury College and subsequently served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
