Mr. Cortese leads our transaction advisory division, D2 Capital Advisors. He is responsible for originating and executing debt and equity transactions on behalf of our clients and for D2 Organization’s own developments and investments. Since joining in 2017, Mr. Cortese has arranged over $300M in debt and equity financings by taking a proactive approach with our clients and capital relationships throughout the entire financing process. Mr. Cortese was selected to Commercial Observer’s 25 Under 35: The Top Young Debt and Equity Professionals of 2019. He was also recognized by the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal as a Top Mortgage Broker of 2020.
Mr. Cortese also works closely with D2’s development team on internal projects. Prior to joining D2, Mr. Cortese worked for Saatchi & Saatchi in New York providing client advisory services, market analysis, and media management for Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Cortese is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Los Angeles, he has returned to Philadelphia and currently resides in Center City.
