About

Mr. Nygaard joined Axonic in 2019 and is responsible for developing and implementing acquisition and asset management activities across Axonic’s commercial real estate debt and equity strategies. Prior to Axonic, he worked as an Associate at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP, where he represented clients in a wide range of real estate matters, including joint ventures, financings, investment sales and acquisitions, secondary market debt acquisitions/dispositions, developments, leasing, loan workouts, public/private projects and real estate related litigation matters. He previously worked as an Associate at Federman Steifman LLP, representing small to mid-size investment firms in complex and sophisticated real estate, structured financing and corporate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, lending, leasing and corporate governance.
