Ari Schwartzbard serves as senior managing director of capital markets strategies, focusing on senior and subordinate debt and equity origination and syndication. An 18-year industry veteran, Mr. Schwartzbard joined Newmark in 2018 from Cantor Commercial Real Estate, where he was responsible for overseeing distribution for CMBS b-pieces and mezzanine loans. Prior to CCRE, Mr. Schwartzbard spent five years at Aareal Capital Corporation, where he held positions in the firm’s commercial real estate group in New York. Mr. Schwartzbard holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business.
