For over half a century, the Handler brand has been synonymous with the development, management and leasing of premium real estate in New York City and throughout the country. The Handler Organization traces its roots to its founder Jerry S. Handler, who for more than a quarter century was one of the principal partners of Newmark & Company and one of the “true giants” of the New York City commercial real estate community. In 1979, he formed Handro Properties and subsequently established Handler Real Estate Services (HRES), its Leasing and Consulting Division and Handro Management Group (HMG), its Management Division.
