What WellDuo and Vertical Developments Are Bringing to Fort Lauderdale
Developers WellDuo and Vertical Developments have unveiled the sales gallery for Riva Residenze, introducing buyers to a luxury condominium concept developed in partnership with Italian yacht manufacturer Riva. The unveiling coincides with the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, placing the development in front of an international audience of yacht owners, marine industry executives and luxury buyers. The gallery is located at 3013–3019 Harbor Drive, near the boat show, and is designed to resemble the refined interiors of Riva's yachts rather than a conventional condominium sales office. Riva has more than 180 years of yachting history and is part of Ferretti Group. The residential project represents the brand's first collaboration on a standalone condominium development.
Vertical Developments CEO Fernando de Nuñez y Lugones said, “We wanted visitors to feel as though they were stepping aboard a Riva yacht, rather than entering a traditional sales gallery.”
What the $3.5M Residences Will Offer Buyers
Riva Residenze is planned as a 20-story tower containing 36 residences with two to six bedrooms, with prices starting at $3.5 million. The waterfront property is designed by Arquitectonica, led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia, with yacht interior designer Giuseppina Arena overseeing residential interiors. The design incorporates aquamarine accents, stitched leather details and flooring inspired by the teak decks of Riva yachts. The project also plans a private marina with six yacht slips accommodating vessels up to 60 feet, connecting the residential offering directly to Fort Lauderdale's boating market. Amenities include a rooftop infinity pool inspired by the beach club aboard Riva's 54Metri superyacht, along with a sky lounge featuring a private cinema, wine room and library. Residents will also have access to wellness facilities, including a sauna, steam room and private spa suite.
WellDuo Co-Founder Eduardo Pelaez Romer said, “Our ambition is to bring those same standards to residential living in Fort Lauderdale, a city with such a strong connection to the yachting world.”
What the Riva Sales Gallery Adds to the Buying Experience
The new gallery features a dedicated Riva lounge furnished by Italian design company Formitalia, along with private meeting areas where buyers can review floor plans, finishes and residence options. The sales experience also extends onto the water. Prospective buyers can schedule private appointments aboard a 66-foot Riva Ribelle docked at the gallery's private boat slip, where they can discuss and finalize purchases.
Riva's Valerio Venturelli described the gallery as an extension of the brand's broader destination strategy, saying it introduces visitors to the residences in a setting that “reflects the character of our yachts and the spaces we've created around the world.”
What Riva Residenze Signals for Fort Lauderdale Luxury Real Estate
Fort Lauderdale continues attracting branded residential developments that combine luxury housing with hospitality, design and waterfront amenities. Projects such as Riva Residenze are targeting affluent buyers who want direct boating access alongside the services and finishes associated with established luxury brands. For developers and investors, the strategy creates an opportunity to differentiate boutique condominium projects in an increasingly competitive South Florida market. Riva Residenze's limited collection of 36 homes and private marina are central to that positioning. The sales gallery is now open by appointment, with the development's in-house sales team led by David Cook.
