What the Tommy Bahama and Ray’s Collaboration Includes
Tommy Bahama and Ray’s Hometown Bar are bringing their laid-back Americana aesthetic to Miami Beach with a weeklong collaboration running November 9 through 15. The activation combines limited-edition apparel, specialty cocktails and events at Ray’s Miami, located inside the Freehand Miami hotel. The partnership builds on previous collaborations between the island-inspired lifestyle brand and the New York-born bar concept. Ray’s has built a following around its casual neighborhood-bar atmosphere, while Tommy Bahama is known for resort-inspired apparel and leisurewear.
What Shoppers Can Expect From the Limited-Edition Collection
The capsule collection includes a custom silk camp shirt, T-shirt and cap, designed with Miami-inspired teal and coral colors. The graphics draw on local architecture and Florida landscapes, pairing Tommy Bahama’s marlin emblem with Ray’s irreverent branding. The collection is scheduled to go on sale November 9 at Ray’s Miami and online through Ray’s website. Prices have not been announced in the available reports.
What’s Planned for the Weeklong Takeover
Ray’s Miami will host daily happy hours and serve three specialty cocktails created for the collaboration. The signature drinks include Tommy’s Chong, made with gin, lemongrass, ginger and watermelon; Tommy Sands, featuring tequila, lime and agave; and Tommy’s Tutone, mixing Irish whiskey with basil, cucumber, elderflower and lemon. The main launch event, called Island Time, is scheduled for November 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests can shop the capsule, visit a Tommy Bahama cigar-cutting station and participate in a prize giveaway. Freehand Miami hotel guests will also have access to branded beach chairs and umbrellas during the week.
What the Partnership Signals for Miami Hospitality
Ray’s Miami opened at Freehand Miami in December 2024 and is operated by Authentic Hospitality. The venue combines a retro neighborhood-bar feel with cocktails, casual food, a pool table and a disco ball, making it a natural fit for an experiential brand collaboration. For hospitality operators, the event shows how limited-run merchandise, specialty drinks and in-person programming can turn a bar into more than a place to eat or drink. With Miami’s winter visitor season approaching, these partnerships offer brands another way to attract customers and give hotel guests an added reason to spend time on-site.
