A Star-Studded Handover
In the exclusive Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, Sylvester Stallone has bid farewell to his grand estate. The buyer? None other than John Fogerty, co-founder of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Fogerty secured the deal at $17.2 million, a remarkable $1 million less than the price Stallone paid for it just under two years ago in spring 2022. The final sum also comes in at a notable $5.3 million under Stallone's original asking price of $22.5 million, as initially reported by Robb Report.
Preservation of Luxury
During Stallone's relatively brief ownership of the estate, there were minimal alterations made to the property. The mansion sits quietly behind the walls of one of the area's most secluded properties, preserving its exclusive charm.
An Impressive Estate
Constructed in 2014, the ranch offers an array of features, including the main house, a guest house, a pool house, and a five-stall barn with a tack room and an arena, according to an older Zillow listing. Situated on over 2 acres, the main house encompasses five ensuite bedrooms, a farm sink-equipped kitchen, a study, a library, a media room, and a garden room with stone floors and glass walls. There's also a formal dining room with coffered ceilings and a wine cellar with a tasting room. The primary suite boasts dual walk-in closets, a wet bar, a laundry area, a balcony, and an indulgent bathroom with both a steam shower and a freestanding tub.
Lush Grounds and Amenities
The beautifully landscaped grounds feature a pool, an outdoor loggia with a fireplace, a barbecue area with a refrigerator, and a four-car garage. Additionally, there's a five-stall barn with a tack room and an arena. The property is further enhanced by organic vegetable gardens, over 100 fruit-bearing trees, a greenhouse, and a serene koi pond.
Stallone's Real Estate Journey
Sylvester Stallone's real estate ventures have made headlines in recent years. In 2021, he listed a considerably more expensive Los Angeles property for $110 million, the same year he acquired a Palm Beach mansion measuring over 13,200 square feet for a cool $35 million.
