What The New Beach Club Brings To Miami Beach

A new Mediterranean-inspired beach club concept is preparing to debut in Miami Beach as Solei Beach Club & Restaurant opens this month at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel.

The 11,500-square-foot venue is designed to blend South Beach energy with the atmosphere of a Spanish Riviera escape, emphasizing daytime hospitality, social dining, and luxury cabana experiences.

Located directly within the hotel property, the concept continues Miami Beach’s growing trend of transforming hotel pool and beachfront spaces into standalone lifestyle destinations.

What The Hospitality Concept Includes

Solei will feature seating for approximately 75 guests alongside a full-service bar, Mediterranean-inspired food program, and private cabana experiences.

The culinary concept is led by Executive Chef Gastón Javier Sanchez, with a menu centered around shareable pintxos, seafood offerings, paella, pizzas, and beach-club style dining.

Cocktails and frozen specialty drinks are expected to play a major role in the venue’s identity, aligning with Miami’s increasingly experience-driven hospitality market.

Private shaded cabanas will include plush seating, direct beach and pool access, and entertainment setups designed for group events and premium day-use experiences.

What The Design And Atmosphere Target

The venue’s aesthetic leans heavily into coastal Mediterranean design, incorporating thatched palapas, resort-style seating, lush landscaping, and open-air social spaces.

This style continues a broader hospitality movement in Miami where operators are prioritizing immersive lifestyle branding and destination-oriented design rather than traditional hotel food-and-beverage formats.

The project is positioned as both a hotel amenity and a standalone social venue targeting locals, tourists, and event-driven clientele.

What This Means For Miami Beach Hospitality Trends

Solei’s opening reflects the continued expansion of experiential hospitality concepts across South Beach, especially within luxury and boutique hotel properties.

Hotels are increasingly monetizing outdoor pool and beachfront areas through branded food-and-beverage operations that function almost independently from the hotel itself.

Day clubs, private cabana programming, curated dining, and social media-friendly design have become major revenue drivers within Miami’s hospitality landscape.

What This Signals About Lifestyle-Focused Development

The project also highlights how hospitality operators are continuing to lean into Mediterranean and European-inspired branding themes that resonate strongly with Miami’s luxury tourism audience.

As competition intensifies among Miami Beach hospitality properties, operators are increasingly differentiating themselves through curated experiences rather than simply accommodations.

Solei Beach Club officially opens May 16 and is expected to operate daily throughout the week.
