  • ONE Sotheby's International Realty has been appointed the exclusive sales firm for Anantara Miami Resort & Residences.
  • The 50-story development at 3601 Biscayne Boulevard will include 100 private residences, 100 resort residences, and 50 hotel suites.
  • Sales contracts are expected to begin this month, with project completion targeted for 2030.

What the Appointment Means for the Project

One Thousand Group and Minor Hotels have selected ONE Sotheby's International Realty as the exclusive sales firm for Anantara Miami Resort & Residences, marking a major milestone for the luxury-branded development as it prepares to begin contract sales. Located at 3601 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood, the project represents the first U.S. residential and hospitality venture under the Anantara brand. The development will combine luxury residences, resort-style living, and hotel accommodations within a single waterfront-inspired destination. The appointment leverages ONE Sotheby's extensive experience in South Florida's luxury residential market and its global network of buyers across more than 81 countries and territories.

What the Development Includes

The planned 50-story tower will feature 250 total accommodations, including 100 private branded condominium residences, 100 resort residences, and 50 boutique hotel suites. The project is being developed by One Thousand Group, the Miami-based firm behind notable projects such as One Thousand Museum and the upcoming Villa Miami. Bangkok-based Minor Hotels, owner and operator of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, is bringing its internationally recognized hospitality platform to the development. Amenities will be inspired by Anantara's Thai heritage and wellness-focused hospitality approach, with an emphasis on longevity, five-star service, and resort-style living within an urban environment.

What Project Leaders Are Saying

One Thousand Group co-founders Louis Birdman and Michael Konig selected ONE Sotheby's based on the firm's track record in South Florida luxury sales and its familiarity with their buyer demographic. Mayi de la Vega, Executive Chair of ONE Sotheby's International Realty, framed the appointment around a shift in what high-net-worth buyers are after.

"Today's buyers are prioritizing longevity and meaningful experiences as the ultimate luxury," she said, adding that Anantara Miami is designed around how people want to live both today and in the future.

What the Design Team Brings to the Development

Anantara Miami Resort & Residences will feature a globally recognized design team. International architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) will serve as design architect, while ODP Architecture & Design will act as architect of record. The interiors will be led by acclaimed designer Patricia Urquiola, whose work on the project will mark her first residential development in the United States. Together, the team aims to blend Miami's cosmopolitan identity with Anantara's hospitality heritage, creating a residential experience distinct from traditional luxury condominium projects.

What This Means for Miami's Branded Residential Market

The project adds to the growing pipeline of branded residential developments across South Florida, a sector that continues attracting both domestic and international buyers seeking hotel-style services and globally recognized hospitality brands. With contract sales expected to begin this month and completion scheduled for 2030, Anantara Miami Resort & Residences is positioned to introduce a new hospitality-driven residential concept to the Miami market while expanding the presence of one of Asia's most established luxury resort brands.
