  • Cipriani Residences Miami, rising 950 feet at 1420 South Miami Avenue in Brickell, has officially topped off and is now the tallest residential tower in the city.
  • The 85-story building is more than 80% sold to buyers from over 30 countries, with strong demand from Mexico, Italy, Colombia, Brazil and beyond.
  • Developer Camilo Miguel Jr. of Mast Capital, working alongside Giuseppe Cipriani, says the project reflects a broader shift of corporate executives and wealth relocating permanently to Miami.

A New Skyline Icon in Brickell

Cipriani Residences Miami has reached a major construction milestone, topping off at approximately 950 feet to become the tallest residential building in Miami's skyline. Located at 1420 South Miami Avenue in the Brickell neighborhood, the 85-story tower marks the first-ever ground-up residential project developed under the Cipriani name in North America. The building is designed to blend the brand's decades of hospitality tradition with full-time residential living, and it's set to be the only new residential tower delivered in Brickell, with completed homes expected in 2027.

A Sellout Fueled by International Buyers

The project is already more than 80% sold, with buyers coming from over 30 countries. The top international markets, in order, include Mexico, Italy, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Canada, France, Spain and the United Kingdom. Domestic demand has been strong too, with buyers relocating from high-tax states like New York and California. According to the developer, many purchasers aren't just investing — they're planning to make Miami their primary home, with some buying multiple units to relocate entire families.

The Developer's Vision

The tower is being built by Mast Capital, led by founder and CEO Camilo Miguel Jr., in partnership with the Cipriani family. Miguel has described the undertaking as one of the most complex of his career, citing the engineering demands of a supertall residential structure compared to typical mid-rise projects. He credits Miami's pro-business climate and growing corporate presence for drawing high-income buyers who no longer feel tied to traditional financial hubs like New York.

Executives and Global Names Among the Buyers

Buyer interest has reportedly extended beyond typical luxury condo purchasers to prominent names in sports and finance, with reports of a soccer superstar picking up several units alongside other high-profile athletes. Executives from major finance and tech firms are also said to be among the buyers relocating from other states. For Mast Capital and Cipriani, the response underscores a larger trend: as companies shift operations and talent to South Florida, Cipriani Residences Miami stands as a landmark example of how the region's residential market is being reshaped by an influx of global wealth.
