What Is Planned for the Giants Training Center
The New York Giants have unveiled plans to significantly expand and modernize their headquarters and training facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey, marking one of the largest investments in the franchise's football operations in decades.
The project will transform the existing Quest Diagnostics Training Center, located near MetLife Stadium, with approximately 93,500 square feet of new construction and 46,000 square feet of renovations. The facility will remain operational throughout construction, allowing football and business operations to continue without interruption.

What the Expansion Will Include
Designed by EwingCole, the upgraded campus will feature a larger 6,000-square-foot locker room, an 11,000-square-foot weight room with a nutrition bar and cardio mezzanine, and expanded team spaces focused on player preparation and recovery.
The project will also triple the size of the sports medicine and rehabilitation department. Planned wellness amenities include hydrotherapy pools, steam rooms, saunas, red light therapy, cryotherapy, dry float tanks, and hyperbaric chambers, creating a comprehensive recovery environment for players.
Additional improvements will modernize team meeting spaces and player-focused areas designed to support performance throughout the NFL season.

What This Means for the Giants
The expansion reflects the Giants' long-term commitment to providing players, coaches, and staff with modern training facilities that match the evolving demands of professional football.
The organization has operated in East Rutherford since 1976, with its headquarters located adjacent to MetLife Stadium, which the team shares with the New York Jets. The upgraded complex is expected to strengthen the franchise's ability to recruit, develop, and support players for years to come.

What Comes Next
Natoli Construction Corp. will oversee construction of the project while the team continues operating from the existing facility during the build.
The expanded headquarters is scheduled for completion ahead of the 2028 NFL season, delivering a next-generation training environment that combines sports science, wellness, and performance under one roof.
