Appointed as CEO of Driftwood Hospitality Management in April 2026, Gregory Maliassas brings nearly 30 years of global hospitality leadership experience. He has managed luxury, full-service, and resort properties across four continents and is known for his strong operational expertise and strategic vision. Before joining DHM, he served as EVP and COO at Playa Hotels & Resorts, where he oversaw a large portfolio of all-inclusive resorts and led more than 15,000 employees. He has also held senior leadership roles at Accor, managing over 45 luxury and premium hotels under brands such as Raffles, Fairmont, and Sofitel. His appointment supports DHM’s continued expansion across the Americas.
