Belleair Development Group, in collaboration with Trammell Crow Residential, has announced plans for a new housing complex named Allora in Largo, Florida. This project, filed under the Live Local Act, is designed to provide workforce housing for local residents.

Project Details

The Allora development will be built in two phases, featuring a total of 336 residential units. The first phase will include 240 units, with 40 percent (96 units) designated as workforce housing. The second phase will add 96 units, also reserving 40 percent (approximately 38 units) for workforce housing. The floorplans will range from studio apartments to three-bedroom residences.

Amenities

Residents of Allora will have access to a variety of communal amenities. These include a swimming pool, a clubhouse, a fitness center, and a dog park. Additionally, the development will offer 400 parking spaces, some of which will be equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.

Timeline and Development Team

Construction for Allora is expected to begin in October 2024, with the first phase of residences available by the fourth quarter of 2025. The project site, spanning 15.5 acres, was acquired by Belleair Development Group for $3.1 million in late 2023. The architectural and design work is being handled by HLR Architects and B + C Studio Inc.

Allora will be located at 800 8th Avenue Southeast, Largo, FL, 33771, within Pinellas County. As per Data USA, the median household income in Largo is $56,266 annually. At the time of the project's announcement, rental prices at Allora were projected to start at $1,850 per month, though this may be subject to change.
