New renderings have been unveiled for 20 Long Slip, a proposed 50-story residential skyscraper situated in Jersey City's Newport area along the Hudson River waterfront. The design, helmed by Arquitectonica with Hill West Architects as the architect of record, promises a striking addition to the skyline.

Design Features
The primary rendering showcases the northeastern corner of the building, emphasizing the distinctive curving balconies that wrap around each floor, reminiscent of Studio Gang’s Aqua skyscraper in Chicago. The façade comprises a glass curtain wall, contributing to the modern aesthetic.

Aerial Perspective
A second rendering offers an aerial view from the northwest corner, providing a glimpse across the Hudson River towards Lower Manhattan. Notably, a green space will buffer the site from the nearby rail tracks of the Hoboken-Bergen Light Rail system to the north. The building's upper portion culminates in a mechanical bulkhead, featuring a glass exterior and an outdoor rooftop terrace.
Nighttime Illumination

A third rendering portrays the building illuminated at night, showcasing LED strips along the balconies. Additionally, an axonometric diagram offers a clearer view of the rooftop amenities, including glass railings and an extended canopy at the ground floor for the main entrance.
Amenities
The residential offerings of 20 Long Slip are extensive, featuring amenities such as a package room, fitness center, coworking space, game lounge, clubhouse, and children’s playroom, catering to the diverse needs of its future occupants.
Project Timeline
Secific dates for the commencement and completion of the project remain undisclosed, leaving the timeline for this ambitious development uncertain.
