Travis Ives

Travis Ives is a Managing Director and co-leads Cushman & Wakefield’s U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets Team. Since 2005, Travis has focused exclusively on healthcare real estate. He joined the firm in 2010, after spending 5 years with Transwestern in Phoenix, AZ.

From 2010 to 2014, Travis established Cushman & Wakefield as a leader in healthcare real estate for the San Diego region. In 2014, Travis added team member, Joe Zurek, to focus on the team’s medical office leasing and owner/user sales activity in San Diego. This allowed Travis to shift his focus to capital markets and expand the team’s services to include investment sales of medical office buildings beyond the San Diego region.

Travis now co-leads Cushman & Wakefield’s U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets Team, which focuses exclusively on advising healthcare providers and third-party investors on acquisition, disposition and debt & equity strategies for healthcare real estate assets across the continuum of care. Additionally, the team assist healthcare providers with strategic capital planning (including monetization of non-core real estate), and the developer selection process. The team has collectively closed over 4 Million sq. ft. of transactions across the country valued at over $1.3 Billion.

Travis has been involved in numerous high-profile transactions during his career. Recent notable assignments include a 146,000 sq. ft., 8-bldg. portfolio sale/leaseback in Phoenix, AZ and a 287,000 sq. ft., 4-bldg. portfolio sale in Sacramento, CA. Travis has been a featured panelist on various conference series including InterFace, RealShare, Revista, Bisnow and BOMA. His accomplishments and market insight have been featured in many industry publications including Globe St., RE Journals and Healthcare Real Estate Insights.
