Thurman joined the brokerage team at The Providence Group in 2010. A native North Carolinian, Thurman is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a B.A. in Journalism. He also earned a master’s degree at the University of Georgia. Thurman’s primary focus is Landlord Representation. Since 1999, he has worked in real estate brokerage, development and financing in Charlotte. Prior to joining the Providence Group, Thurman worked at Myers Park Mortgage and served as Director of Leasing for Faison & Associates, handling the marketing of shop space, junior anchor space and outparcels for their Carolinas and Virginia developments and shopping centers, including third party accounts. Third party clients include DDR, Kite, Trinity Partners, Kimco, Inland, Crescent Resources and Lennar Partners. His extensive sales background prior to and including his real estate career have proved valuable to his clients. Thurman’s proactive and outgoing approach in pursuing new tenants is his strong suit.
