Thomas Fuchsman serves as Chief Executive Officer of FBRE Capital. Along with the President, he is responsible for maintaining the firm’s standards, developing new business and overseeing execution.
Prior to his role at FBRE Capital, Mr. Fuchsman spent over a decade at investment banks in New York, where he played a central role in originating, underwriting, structuring and closing over $22 billion of commercial real estate transactions.
Immediately prior to FBRE Capital, Mr. Fuchsman served as a senior originator in J.P. Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank, responsible for the origination of commercial real estate debt nationwide. Before his tenure at J.P. Morgan, Mr. Fuchsman held a similar role at Bear Stearns. Mr. Fuchsman negotiated hundreds of deals that spanned the gamut of commercial property types and markets throughout the United States, including stabilized, transitional, pre-development and construction transactions.
Mr. Fuchsman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University.
