As a child, Tom Campbell first visited his grandparent's home on the beach, just north of where the Port Royal Club now stands, and immediately fell in love with Naples. After graduating from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law, Tom served in the U.S. Army. Thereafter, Tom moved permanently to Naples, Florida. Tom Campbell was one of the founders of the Community School of Naples and an early board member of both the Community School and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. In 2002, Tom Campbell was awarded the Conservancy's "President's Award" for his commitment to "protecting and preserving Naples environment." Tom is a member of the Port Royal Club.
