Ted Jacobs is a Vice Chairman with CBRE, leading its regional Life Sciences Practice with an exclusive focus on tenant representation. Jacobs, based in San Diego one of the top 3 life sciences clusters in the world, also helps lead CBRE’s National Life Science practice as a member of its Executive Council. He represents a broad range of companies in the sector including startups, big pharma, non-profit institutes, venture capital firms, across a wide variety of uses such as cGMP, CLIA, biology and chemistry.
Jacobs joined CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was the youngest Vice Chairman in the history of the company. Jacobs has years of exposure to the life sciences industry as previously working on a team which was the first life sciences group in the country to specialize exclusively in life sciences real estate representation.
