Steven Salas joined Newmark in 2016 as a senior managing director in the company’s West Los Angeles office. Mr. Salas has provided commercial brokerage services to tenants, landlords, investors and developers throughout greater Los Angeles County since 1997. He has been based in West Los Angeles for 17 years and has worked with some of the most recognizable firms in the world. His commitment to the local market has earned him a reputation for finding unique opportunities suited to the entertainment and medical industries. Mr. Salas joined Newmark after having spent the last 20 years of his career with Madison Partners and CBRE. Over the course of his career, he has completed over 800 lease transactions totaling over 4.5 million square feet. He has been quoted and recognized as an industry leader by such publications as the Los Angeles Times, The Hollywood Reporter and the Los Angeles Business Journal. He has also provided expert witness testimony in the local market and has been designated as a Power Broker by The Costar Group.
