Steven’s expertise in retail tenant representation was first established during his 10 years as the founder and operator of the successful retail chain, Olympic Village, an early multi-brand athletic footwear concept later sold to Foot Locker. During his time as a retailer, he saw firsthand the importance of strategically choosing store locations, but found there were no companies taking an analytical, research-based approach to this process. This experience eventually led Steven to develop his niche and form The Greenberg Group, a company dedicated solely to the representation of leading retailers in real estate transactions. Since 1987, Steven has represented some of the most respected brands in retail including Lacoste, Gucci, Drybar, Eddie Bauer, Waterworks and many many more.
